♥ my dorm!

so this week is what the locals call it “Starr Festival Week”, what that basically means is that our hall will have functions throughout the week:

Monday = mini games

Tuesday = Singing Contest

Wednesday = Tug-Of-War & Water Fight

Thursday = Bazzat? (booths are set up and food, beverages, games are sold to other people)

Friday = High Table Dinner

I basically didn’t participate on monday since I had an essay due at midnight that night, and tuesday wasn’t my day either since I don’t think I sound good singing.

After trying to avoid it all, people finally got me to attend yesterday’s (wednesday) event of Starr Fest. In the beginning I stayed away from the water fight, and participated in the tug-of-war contest afterwards, and i thought that it was so much FUNN! I basically had to PULL FOR MY LIFE @ one point!

But it was all worth while in the end, since our hall won! ADD OIL 22&23rd floor! HAha

I ♥ my hallmates, they are so fun. Dorm life in HK is so different because they hold so many different events to get everyone to interact and get to meet new/interesting people, Hong Kong Culture is awesome…

and finally I write!

So my intentions were to create a blog and write down all my amazing stories in HK, and elsewhere right? Guess what? Yup, you got it, IT DID NOT WORK OUT!!!

HAHA, well I’ve got nothing and no one to blame but myself. I’ve just been so lazy after all the traveling I do, and school, and just hanging out in general takes up all my time.

But Jeff just told me that I should create one if I didn’t already have one, and I came to realize that if I don’t write this down, I’m eventually going to forget it (since I have short term memory, yup, what is your name again?!?!)

So here’s the deal, I will be summarizing everything that has happened so far and post pictures about it in another post.

­­­­­Hello everyone, so this is my new site/blog. It’s not much, but it’s an update for everyone about my life in HK.

Although this is my first post, I am technically not in HK yet. I’m just back in the 626, working my days away in a garage, trying to save some money for my upcoming trip.

After messing up the garage, and we had nothing to do... we decided to CLEAN IT UP a bit!

since there was only 3 brooms, and 1 pressure washer, i just took pictures LOL

Back to the writing. As the days for my trip gets closer, one side of me feel like I’m going to miss my co-workers and friends back at home but on the other side i’m just jumping up and down in joy, awaiting to depart from my hometown and be released into the unknown world of a mysterious Chinese speaking community. Will i get lost? LOL it’s almost as if i want to get lost, and find my way into rescue… i dunno, I’m just weird like that!
